Concepts - Multiple Shelves
To do so, we draw from a range of approximately 6,000 products, divided across various international world concepts. This enables us to create a suitable and commercially strong assortment for every store, regardless of the available space.
A key part of our approach is that we have our own in-house shelf planner. This allows us to design fully customised planograms and seamlessly integrate them into existing shelf space. As shown in the example on the right, we can even combine multiple country concepts within just one metre of shelf space. Some combinations are less suitable—such as alcohol and halal—but beyond that, the possibilities are virtually endless.
Our RSP software contains all relevant shelf dimensions of every nationally operating supermarket chain in the Netherlands. This is essential, as each chain uses its own shelf depths, widths, notch heights, and shelf dividers. Because our system also includes all product dimensions and case contents, we are able to create an optimal presentation that makes maximum use of the available space. By minimising empty space between shelves, we can fit up to four country concepts within just one metre. It’s not always necessary—but it is possible.
